I live in a really small town--2,000, where everyone knows everyone else. The dilema is I am a school teacher and my students and I have the same FB friends, so it really didn't matter if I accepted them or not--they could see my posts anyway! I decided to accept them all, and just watch what I say. Everything has to be appropriate all the time, unless I go to other friends "inboxes." It is working, and it keeps me honest and accountable--not a bad thing for me, because I have a bad habit of spouting off anyway! So, good luck with the employee thing. You would think otherwise due to the number of friends that I have. FB was one of my ways of ranting about work every once and a while. Since I no longer work, I've actually only added one friend only to keep tabs on how crappy the place still is. And ya. it's still crappy.
