Hey, Liana--I'm Carla, and you came up on my new blog as a computer generated suggestion. I live in a really small town--2,000, where everyone knows everyone else. The dilema is I am a school teacher and my students and I have the same FB friends, so it really didn't matter if I accepted them or not--they could see my posts anyway! I decided to accept them all, and just watch what I say. Everything has to be appropriate all the time, unless I go to other friends "inboxes." It is working, and it keeps me honest and accountable--not a bad thing for me, because I have a bad habit of spouting off anyway! So, good luck with the employee thing. It is difficult to refuse acquaintances.

I'm not friends with any of the boss's from work, so they won't know how often I FB at work. I also don't accept any request from someone who was mean to me in High School. If you didn't like me then, you don't need to know me now.

I have the same rule of not adding anybody i worked with to the FB friendlist. You would think otherwise due to the number of friends that I have. FB was one of my ways of ranting about work every once and a while. Since I no longer work, I've actually only added one friend only to keep tabs on how crappy the place still is. And ya. it's still crappy.
