No Wooden Shoes, But More Wine Than I Had Planned On. November 24, 2008

We got back last night from Solvang, and thanks to the Lytles our child made it through the weekend away from us in one piece.  Unfortunately I wasn’t able to get myself a pair of wooden shoes, but we did however feel compelled to buy a bottle of wine from every winery we visited.  I’m not exactly sure how many bottles we ended up with, but I know that it was more than a couple.  This could end up being a bit of a problem because on our trip I think I came to the realization that I don’t really like wine.  Half way through our first tasting I was ready to be done.  We did get a couple of good pictures though.  On a side note, which if you haven’t noticed I am somewhat the Queen of Sidenotes, Keith referred to me as a “smelly hippie”, and told me that I need to cut my hair.  I know it’s time since it is longer than it has been in a while, I just don’t know what I want to do with it.  I have had super short hair before, the type that is so short that you have to have the back of your neck trimmed, and if I decide not to put on makeup I look like a thirteen year old boy.  My husband would disagree with me, but I don’t think that I was able to successfully sport that look.  So if any of you out there have any suggestions for my potential new do, let me know.  Now on with the pictures.

will you send me those, since the only ones I took were on the camera phone and at firestone…the last day. I love the one of us in front of wine and mike in the corner. It was fun.

You had that hair when we started attending Revolution, and I think you pulled it off. So feel free to go for it.
