Single Mom For The Weekend. October 4, 2008

Keith is at a conference in San Francisco this weekend, so Ellie and I are having a girls weekend.  It is very rare that I don’t work on at least one weekend day, so even though Keith isn’t here to spend time with us it was still a treat to actually have a weekend off.  Friday night we went to the Hutton’s house which turned into a slumber party when they convinced me that I didn’t want to drive home by myself to an empty house.  Then today we went shopping to stock up on some much needed things for Ellie, like shoes and p.j.’s.  She also got a few things that she could probably do without, which may end up going back to the store depending on what Keith thinks about them.  I would love to type more, but the little screen just came up to tell me that my keyboard battery is critically low and it could stop working at any moment if I don’t change the battery immediately.  I would do it, but I’m tired.  Shopping with a 21 month old is exhausting.
