What Did I Do With My Labor Day? Thank You So Much For Asking, I Worked. September 1, 2008

One of the many downsides of working in retail is that while everyone else is out enjoying their holidays, we are the ones who have to work.  One of the downsides of being in retail management is that Mondays are the days when all of the important office work gets done and since a lot of holidays happen to fall on a Monday, I usually end up working.  I have worked almost every major holiday, while Keith stays home and tries his best to entertain Ellie for nine hours.  Today they watched Curious George twice, even though when I got home Ellie told me they had watched it three times.  They also cleaned the kitchen together, Ellie swept.  When she cleans she likes to say “Pick up, pick up”.  Ellie once again fell asleep in her highchair, and when Keith gave her a shower after her snack she pooped in the tub.  Great.
