Tonight Keith and I started our 100 push-up challenge.  We have tried to start this for the past two weeks and have failed miserably.  The idea is that if you follow this routine, in six weeks you should be able to do 100 push-ups.  The plan is pretty simple and you supposedly only need to do the routine three days a week.  In order to get started you first have to find your base number by doing as many push-ups as you can.  So I worked really hard and did push-ups until I was exhausted, I maxed out at two…that’s right, two push-ups.  How embarrassing is that.  I carry a 25 pound child around and I could only do two push-ups.  I’m pathetic.  So the real reason why I am sharing this, other than that I wanted everyone to be prepared for me to start sporting some seriously toned arms that would give Jennifer Aniston a run for her money, is that I thought it would be great if some of my friends got in on the action to.  So come on people let me know if you are with me.  Let’s rise up against the “bingo arm” jiggle, and start getting toned.  Now I’m not ready to start any cardio or anything, I am definitely not a fan of running, so I might not be doing myself that much good, but at least I can live with the false hope that I am making myself healthier.  Let’s go people, who’s with me?

So Keith has this amazing job where not only do they feed him breakfast and lunch everyday, but during the summer his hours are 8am-3pm with a 1 hour lunch break.  That’s a 30 hour work week people!  And he still gets paid what he would during the school year when he would work 40 hours.  It’s quite the dream, or at least it sounds like it to me.  Well I know you’re probably thinking that things couldn’t get any better, but just wait.  It turns out that Keith’s work also has this fabulous program where we can buy a computer and have the amount that it costs taken out of his paycheck over the course of a year.  This way we get something that we want without having to charge it or pay for it all at once.  It’s awesome.  That being said, a couple of weeks ago we got a new Macbook Pro.  This means that now I can blog in bed, which is quite possibly the sweetest thing ever.  It does however have its downsides.  There have been a couple of nights when I have stayed up till 2 or 3 in the morning on the internet.  That does not make for a happy Liana in the morning.  I’m definitely going to have to learn how to control myself.  The internet will still be there in the morning.
