My friend Latifah who lives in Colorado was in town this week and I was so happy that we got to see her tonight. Latifah only lived in Long Beach for a couple of years, and she moved back to Colorado about two an a half years ago, but she is quite possibly one of my favorite people. I always tell people that she is the most talented person I know. She paints, she writes, she sings, and she plays music. On top of all of that she is one of the most Godly women I have ever known, and if she prays for something, a lot of times it happens, it’s crazy. Tonight Keith and I got to go out to dinner with Latifah and her band mates Reid and Dan. We also took them to Powell’s Sweet Shoppe for some goodies. It was so great to get to see her and hopefully next time they are in town we will actually get to go to one of their shows. Unfortunately I didn’t get any picks of this visit, but here are some horrible shots from the last time she was here.
